MEMBER DALE LAMONT:
I thought you might be interested in hearing about how an
article of yours led to a most wonderful experience. Several
years ago you had an article on hiking the Lycian Way in
Turkey. After reading it I was sold. I convinced my husband
and another couple that they also wanted to do this hike. And
of course, if one is going to go all the way to Turkey, one should
also see more of the country. e result was that this spring
we finally travelled to Turkey for two months. e Lycian Way was a great hike and we
loved everything else we did and saw. It's an amazing and beautiful country.
So thank you ever so much for making me aware of this place in the world. I hope that in
future you will carry more articles that focus on different parts of the world and ways to
travel in them that do not involve a vehicle.

Parade's
End
It was a busy summer for
Teddy and our AMA
employees. We racked up an
impressive number of miles
travelling across Alberta,
taking part in summer parades
– St. Albert Rainmaker Rodeo
and Exhibition, Grande Prairie
Stompede, Calgary Stampede, Red Deer Westerner Days, K-Days in Edmonton,
Lethbridge Whoop up Days, Camrose BVJ Kick'n Country Parade, Medicine Hat
Exhibition and Stampede and the Canada Day parade in Fort McMurray. A big
shout out and thanks to all the tireless volunteers and organizers who put on
these amazing community events and all the AMA members who came out to
cheer us on. We had a blast! Join us year-round at community events across
