year or so, Stephen Magusiak
wants to move to downtown
Calgary from the suburbs. His
must-haves are cheap rent, a
quiet street and close proximity
to work. Top of the list, how-
ever, he wants an apartment
that's within the home zone of
car2go, Calgary's most popular
car-sharing service. And he's not
willing to compromise.
"I don't want a totally vehicle-
dependent lifestyle. My inten-
tion is to not rely solely on car
ownership, which is tough to do
in Calgary," says the 30-year-old
Magusiak, who currently uses
car2go weekly, even though he
owns a car. "It's basically another
useful transportation option that
makes it easier to live in Calgary."
