Currie Dinosaur Museum opens to the public. e four- hectare, $40-million facility just outside of Grande Prairie lies near Pipestone Creek Bone Bed, one of the worlds' densest dinosaur gravesites. Interconnected Art On September 11, Edmonton's Alberta Avenue kicks off the 10th annual Kaleido Family Arts Festival, celebrating the cultural diversity of this neighbourhood. Over the next two days, Polish dancers, First Nations fire and hoop performers, Guyanese drummers and Vietnamese performers share the stage. Huge art installations inspire, workshops will be plentiful and interactive, and musicians like Zerbin will entertain. Watch for the Firefly Theatre & Circus teaming up with the National Stiltwalkers of Canada to treat festival-goers to an aerial version of The Ugly Duckling.
